A medium tempo fusion of Ska and Reggae by the master Berimbau player, Dinho Nascimento. The berimbau is a Brazilian instrument consisting of a single string attached to a stick and a gourd, played similarly to a fretless stand-up bass.
Dinho Nascimento is one of Brasil's leading Berimbau players, and leads a series of public shows throughout Brasil dedicated to presenting the Berimbau --- a Brasilian instrument consisting of a single string attached to a stick and a gourd, played similarly to a fretless standup bass --- in a variety of live performance settings and in a variety of genres and interpretations. In these three albums, Dinho takes us on a tour through a wide variety of genres and instrumentations, all the while maintaining the Berimbau as the centerpiece of the albums.
