I thank God, this town that is in charge and everyone who helped me to form this band. I don't believe in propaganda, nor those who want to hurt me. Everyone who knows how it works has the right to succeed. In that of improvising I have my own way. I am the original and the others are copies. And whoever has doubts, ask Gilberto Santa Rosa!

A veces me sienten ronco y pregonan
ya se terminó el cantante, pero es que de
todas, todas yo siempre tiro para adelante.
Lo mismo ronco que claro, la cosa yo la compongo,
en América, en el Asia, en Europa y en el Congo.
Si no puedo cantar alto entonces canto bajito,
pues lo hago con sentimiento, cuando improviso bonito, Tito.
Los que no tienen conciencia hablaron mal de mi voz.
Y aquí el que tiene licencia para cantar ronco soy yo, mira.
Las gracias le doy a Dios, a este pueblo que es quien manda
y a todo el que me ayudó para formar esta banda.
Yo no creo en propaganda, ni el que quiere hacerme mal.
Todo el que sabe cómo anda tiene derecho a triunfar.
En eso de improvisar yo tengo mi forma propia.
Yo soy el original y los demás son las copias.
