Album description

The Cuban rhythm that mixes jazz and mambo, with a little salsa on top, called la charanga. To the same percussion as salsa, with the same basic ingredients of jazz and mambo, they added flutes and violins to create a truly new identity. Pupy with his real name Felix Lagarreta was the first to ix the ingredients of Jazz, mambo and Salsa. In 1951 he travelled and worked with Johnny Pacheco, he supried the world with his Charanga format. This album is a must for all lovers of good charanga..
